Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers -Registration Fall 2022
DCJS rehearsals for the Fall 2022 semester will begin on Wednesday, August 24th, at the First Baptist Church in Ithaca. We plan to have in-person rehearsals for singers who are vaccinated. We will not be offering zoom access this year, however, rehearsals will be recorded and audio will be made available after rehearsal.
Protocols for rehearsals of the Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers; Fall 2022
Only vaccinated singers will be allowed to attend in-person rehearsals.
Vaccinated singers who have not already submitted proof of vaccination should email a photo of their CDC Vaccination card, showing the most recent dose within the past 6 months, to: louis.hicks.314@gmail.com
Singers will not attend rehearsals:
If they have symptoms consistent with COVID-19; or
If they have tested positive for the virus within the past ten days; or
If they have knowingly been exposed to someone who has tested positive for the virus (and not been cleared by a negative PCR test 5 – 7 days after the exposure).
Ultimately it is up to chorus members themselves to make the decision if it is safe for them to attend in-person rehearsals, and adherence to these protocols will allow all chorus members to make informed decisions.
